Hi, I’m Meg

Hi, I’m Meg, a working mom with kids almost grown up.

I spent several years of my childhood in the U.S. due to my father’s overseas assignment, and our family loved traveling. I went to Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, New York City, Niagara Falls, Walt Disney World, the Kennedy Space Center, Key West, Disneyland in California, Knott’s Berry Farm, France, Italy, and Switzerland on our way back to Japan. The huge impact of experiencing different world in my early years must have affected my lifelong love of travel.

I’ve always loved English and chose a foreign language major high school. I majored in Spanish at the university after having received highly advanced English education there. My career path followed the idea of “using English for work” (not Spanish — funny how that turned out!).

Back in those days, continuing to work after having children wasn’t easy for women in Japan and I became a stay-at-home mom of three, but my love for travel never faded. We enjoyed family trips to Guam, Hawaii, and the mainland U.S. to see my friends, and I even took my three kids with me to Australia to study at the Graduate school there.

I’ve been back in the workforce for over 13 years now. My kids are grown, and I’m almost done with parenting (time really flies!). My doctor once told me that “extraordinary experiences like travel help prevent aging,” and I took that seriously — now I’m working to enjoy traveling.

My motto is “affordable yet a little luxurious travel.”
Hope to help more people — moms, housewives, solo travelers, seniors, families, couples —  step out of the everyday routine and enjoy beautiful “extraordinary moments.”

Why not start your next journey today?
